Who we are
We are a group of Physiotherapists and we specialize in different areas of rehabilitation science. In more detail we specialize in the fields of musculoskeletal disorders, manual therapy, clinical Pilates, acupuncture and neurological rehabilitation.
Our clinic is exercise orientated and we value the human movement as a means of healing in most of the patients we see. We work with our patients in a pleasant, stimulating and fully equipped environment that will help them engage in movement and exercise, even in the most challenging cases.
Our philosophy
Every treatment plan is different in Physiomotive, because every patient is unique. However we keep a fixed core of basic principles of our philosophy. We use them as a “compass” that keeps as on track to be able to provide the best practice possible. These are the individualized approach, personal one to one sessions and cost effectiveness. Every person has his unique personality, beliefs and history and this is the reason why we provide individualized treatment plans for each and every patient refers to as for rehabilitation. There is no standard recipe when treating our patients. At your first appointment we are going to interview you. This way we will obtain your history and ask you some important questions about your problem. At this first session we are going to perform a physical examination and review your physician’s diagnoses and recommendations. This initial session is very important to be able to tailor your treatment plan and set your goals.
Another basic characteristic at Physiomotive is that every patient is assigned to his physiotherapist depending on his pathology and that every session is constantly supervised by him or her. With one to one sessions you will not be left alone to perform tasks or exercises. This has been proven to be more effective as a treatment approach than unsupervised sessions or parts of sessions. Your designated physical therapist will monitor your improvement and modify the treatment plan according to it.
Our third basic principle is that we try to provide cost effective rehabilitation. To do so we train our patients how to self-manage their problem through home exercise programs and self-mobilization techniques. This way we keep your sessions in a reasonable number and your rehabilitation as cost effective as possible.
