Clinical Pilates

Pilates exercise has empirically and scientifically been proven to be helpful for people with musculoskeletal and neurological problems. It facilitates movement throughout the entire body by teaching the participants how to control their entire body as it moves. In turn this improves the “body awareness”, which is key when it comes to rehabilitation of painful conditions and movement restoration.

Clinical Pilates is an evolution of the Pilates methodology that focuses on the restoration of the control of movement in a desensitizing manner. In our center we provide Clinical Pilates sessions under the supervision of certified Clinical Pilates instructors, who are physiotherapists with expertise in the management of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Our fully equipped Pilates studio has state of the art equipment (reformer, trapeze, chair and barrel).

We provide Clinical Pilates in personal or two person groups. The reason we host so small groups is that this particular form of therapeutic exercise must be 100% supervised by the instructor physiotherapist, who is constantly facilitating, correcting and adjusting the movement of the participants.

You can book an appointment for a free physio evaluation and Clinical Pilates trial session that will help you understand how it feels and works.
